My recent Amazon purchases you need

budget finds, gift guide, how to guide, travel comment

Having Amazon Prime makes shopping so easy and with the abundance of items it’s very hard for me to NOT find what I need. I wanted to share with you some of my tried and true recent buys from Amazon that have turned into must-haves for me.

1. Mid-century modern Eames inspired kids table set: finding a simple table set for my son that didn’t have crazy colors or cutesy prints seemed to be impossible. When I found this table set, it was a definite buy. The hairpin details are too cute and the white matches well with all his existing decor. Edit: Yesterday, I stumbled across this stool table set from Target that is a little bit cheaper

2. Purse organizer: the best invention ever! It’s a great piece to keep all my stuff organized with so many pockets and it gives shape to some purses of mine that don’t have a sturdy base. It’s great for switching between purses because everything I need is in the organizer and I literally lift it out of one purse into another.

3. Beauty spatula: I hate when I have a beauty product that no longer dispenses but I can see there is still plenty of product left in the bottle. It’s like getting 50% of what I paid for! This spatula is a great tool for getting your money’s worth of product and extending use for a few more days. This company also sells a full set for other bottle and tube types as well

4. Wireless LED light: There was a dark crevice of my closet where the overhead light wasn’t shining through so it made it incredible hard to see darker clothing pieces. I found this LED light that I can stick on the wall and it’s been a complete transformation. It adheres to the wall with some Command strips on a plate. The light unit itself has a magnetic bottom and sticks to the plate. This is important because I can take the light on/off to charge it when it’s out of power.

5. Cedar planks: Moths are not your friend especially when wool and cashmere weather hit. These cedar planks are slim and flat that it’s easy to stick anywhere in your closet to deter moths from feasting on your nice sweater. P.S. Don’t forget to read my guide for how to care for your sweaters

6. Round drawstring makeup pouch: this make up pouch is a game-changer. The round shape makes it easy to throw everything inside and keep it corralled. Plus, it has some elastic straps and pockets on the interior that help to keep liquids upright and separate different items. A must-have for travel!

7. Heavy duty slim hangers: I got tired of the mismatched hangers for my coats so I decided a make over was due. I contemplated between getting wooden coat hangers but wanted to keep slim hangers to match the existing ones in my closet. These hangers have worked like advertised – slim to take up less room but strong enough to hold my heaviest long wool coats.

8. Shower hooks: We moved recently and the height of the shower head doesn’t allow for a caddy. So, I was on the hunt for hooks for loofahs and brushes. This hook is great for both form and function – it fits with our contemporary aesthetic and also has a hidden suction cup function that actually holds

9. Wireless rechargeable label machine: A great way to get organized! Previously, I had a label machine that ate through batteries and only had limited font selections. This one is much better in that you can use the app on your phone and pick more fonts and print wirelessly!

10. HDTV antenna: We recently became cord cutters but were missing out on local news. So, this antenna is a great way to be connected without having to pay the cable company. It gets a pretty long range and the channel offerings are quite diverse. Plus, it has a dual color feature so you can stick it on your wall and have it feel more incognito.
