If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you have caught a glimpse of all the pink across Japan. We were traveling in various cities in Japan and catching the cherry blossoms as they bloom. It’s truly unique how much the people embrace the spring season – the parks were packed with people having picnics under the sakura at all hours of the day. It was quite interesting to see all the business people having picnics at night still in their work clothes! And, everywhere we went, there were offerings of sakura everywhere including wine, champagne, coffee, and soda. I’m glad we were able to see all of these sights and sounds – will be posting a full update soon!

How do you go to a tropical locale without leaving your home (unless you’re already living in the tropics)? Try the palm print! It’s a new trend that’s quickly replaced the pineapple trend of summer’s past. Whether you choose a dress, romper, top, or jacket the print can be found everywhere. So, why not pick up a piece (or two!) and get ready to lounge back in that beach chair and have a relaxing summer night!

A new season means a new pair of jeans – whether that’s cut or wash. If I could, I would live in jeans everyday. They’re just so comfortable and the varied cuts and styles means a new look is always possible. So, I’m really excited that ShopBop has teamed up with some of my favorite denim brands to curate a dream collection of jeans. I’m particularly excited to try out the ones from Citizens of Humanity, Paige, and Rag & Bone. What about you?

This season grey denim is what it’s all about. There’s an abundance to choose – whether you’re in the market for a certain wash or certain shade of grey. Give your denim collection a updated look with a pair! You could dress up the jeans with a perfect silk shirt and some matching grey heels. Or, you could make it a more contemporary casual look by pairing it with a great tee, some comfy kicks, and layer on a warm coat. How would you style grey denim?
Congratulations to Andrea Darst & Sarah Lagen – you are the winners of the Mickey & Jenny wrap sweater giveaway! Please e-mail with your size and mailing address!
