The exceptionally warm weather here this past weekend has me looking forward to the spring. And, who better to show us how to get prepared for that than Beyoncé? Her laid back outfit consisting of her bright Givenchy blazer and distressed boyfriend shorts paired with her signature fedora hat and the “it” sandal showcases the perfect mix of chic, sporty, and casual.

Cameron Diaz has gotten much attention over the years for her youthful appearance and stylish looks. Recently, she donned an all black ensemble to a luncheon in Hollywood. She was spotted wearing an Isabel Marant sweater dress paired with dramatic lizard skin ankle heels. Her outfit was perfectly paired with a vintage Chanel quilted purse complete with gold hardware. The perfect daytime look!
Inspired by Cameron’s look? Try this similar dress (which you’ll be able to wear practically year round) and pair it with these exquisite heels from Express. Add this quilted bag for a classic look and turn the heads of some on-lookers as you enjoy lunch!

Fashion Week is over (New York, that is) and it’s time to review some of the audience’s outfits for the shows. Alexa Chung shows us how to slightly blur the lines between an outfit that’s both classy and edgy. Her Giles polka dot button down is a ultra feminine with its front tie detail. However, she gives it a little edge by forgoing the ties and instead, opening up a few buttons. A Marc Jacobs pink skirt compliments the top well but it’s the vinyl texture that makes you do a double-take. She takes on the forward look by pairing it with some Tabitha Simmons heels, a Marc Cross box purse, and a vintage Givenchy dog collar choker.
Inspired by Alexa’s take on textures? Try this polka dot shirt paired with this subtle embroidered lace pink skirt from Intermix. Have a throwback moment with this choker, lace up your stiletto heels and add on this picnic-ready box purse for your next outing!

April showers bring May flowers – that’s how the saying goes, right? The floral print trend is definitely in full effect. This is evident with its prominence in everything from blazers to pants to skirts. Some of the floral patterns out there are bolder than others and I’ve found myself challenged with how to best style it without looking like a crazy person. If you’re new to this trend, perhaps you’d like to start with a smaller print and work it into your outfit.
I think these ankle wrap sandal heels are good solution for that. The print is colorful and girly and has multiple colors so you can match it to other color palettes to style a very vibrant and chic outfit. I’ve found two different styles from Givenchy and Steve Madden that can be mixed and matched with your wardrobe this season.
The classic rose design from Givenchy would work perfectly paired with a little black dress that you could wear to a shower. Consider pulling in the pink rose detailing by pairing the dress with a matching belt. To balance the outfit, I would recommend a neutral accessory palette for the earrings, bracelet, and clutch.
These pretty and bright floral heels from Steve Madden are also another option if you’re not fully committed to the trend and are unsure if it’s for you. This pattern is very feminine, especially with the thin straps and stiletto heel. To play up the girly vibe, I would pair it with this season’s other “it” trend: the midi skirt. This white midi skirt is a great contrast to the vibrant colors of the heel and is complimented by a blush pink top. Again, I kept the earrings and cuff bracelet color-neutral, and offset the entire look with a mint quilted purse that has a gold chain to tie in the two color schemes.
Are you trying the floral trend this Spring? I’d love to hear what you’ve styled!
