Now that the weather is getting warmer, it is the perfect time for skirts and this striped black and white skater skirt from The Shopping Bag is the perfect pick. The colors make it easy to pair with any other color top or blazer/cardigan. The skirt material is heavy and hold the pleats together well to create flare. I decided to dress up the skirt a little bit by pairing it with a black blouse and a blush blazer.
Need a new black and white skirt to add to your wardrobe? Check out this skirt! And don’t forget to take 25% off this pretty piece and anything else your heart desires by entering the code SHOPPINGMYCLOSET at checkout. I would love to see what you buy!

MEET THIS WEEK’S CO-HOST
I’m Conni, a wardrobe stylist by day, and style blogger by night. I just relocated to Toronto from San Diego, California with my husband on a two year project opportunity (adventure) for work. I am smitten with anything that involves coffee, champagne, dachshunds, and Doritos. (-: I used to teach middle school history and last year decided to take a leap of faith to start a business helping people do what I love, which is styling them! Style and history have a fascinating relationship, so it made sense to me to combine the two things I love. Now here I am, in a brand new city all the way across the continent, exploring all that being new to a city has to offer and I’m loving it!
My style can best be described as classic, preppy, chic with pops of color and neutrals infused in my outfits. I think style is what you make of it, and rocking your own style is a fabulous thing! On my blog you can find affordable style with trends and classic pieces mixed together. I am a big believer that chic wardrobes don’t have to cost a fortune. I named my blog, Art in the Find because I enjoy the “find” and I also think there is an art to helping people find things they love! I started a service called the Virtual Style Lookbook where I put together outfits for women who need help putting their style together.
